Annual Beta Convention '12

Hey everyone! The Annual Beta Club Convention is coming up! The convention will be held March 2-3 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Downtown Atlanta. The theme this year is "Betas, Start Your Engines!" The two-day convention will involve competitions, keynote speakers, and a great opportunity to meet other Beta chapters from all over Georgia. There are 8 categories in which you can compete (listed below). In addition, there is also a special scholarship competition that is only open to seniors and a quiz bowl competition that calls for a 4-member team. If you are interested in competing in any of the categories below, email Beta Club at campbellbetaclub@gmail.com (preferable method) or directly see me or Angela.

In regards to prices, there will be a $20 participation fee for the competitions. Additionally, Beta is hoping to have an overnight stay at the hotel (in addition to all the competitions and speakers, there will be fun social events and dances.. also, great bonding opp!) The cost per room is roughly $152, but each room is split between four members so only $38 per person. In total, with room and competition entrance fee, you'll only need to pay a total of $58.

-- > JANUARY 20TH IS THE LAST DAY TO SIGN-UP TO COMPETE FOR A CATEGORY.

There are monetary prizes for winners in each category. In addition, state-wide winners go onto national competitions.
