we have a list of really important announcements about the past meetings and upcoming events. First and foremost, this Friday, Febuary 24th will be Beta Club's Candle Light Induction Ceremony! The Induction will be after school and more information will be sent out tomorrow (wed) afternoon. Please spread the word!
We will be having a meeting this upcoming Friday morning at 7:45AM! We will be discussing spring fundraisers (bring ideas!), finalizing convention details for those attending, and briefly go over procedures for the Induction ceremony!
For those have not attended the past few meetings, we talked about a countywide fundraising event called Kefty Kasino. On February 25th, Kefty is hosting a fundraiser, Kefty Kasino, for Camp Jenny, a camp which is run by teens all over the southeast for underprivileged, inner-city Atlanta children. Every year, temple youth groups from all around the southeast raise money throughout the year and send it to Camp Jenny. Kefty Kasino is Kefty’s largest fundraiser for Camp Jenny. Kefty Kasino is a large scale event for teens all over Atlanta. There will be a variety of casino games including a Texas Hold ‘Em tournament where the grand prize is an iPad. There will also be a raffle where many large prizes will be raffled off. This year, Kefty has decided to open up this fundraiser to various Honor Societies and service clubs from around Cobb County. We will be offering SERVICE HOURS (great opp) for students to come to Kefty Kasino.
